Unshakable She provides residential behavioral health care for adolescent girls ages 12 to 21 who require a therapeutic, structured living environment to address emotional and behavioral challenges. Our program is designed to promote healing, stability, and personal growth in a safe and supportive setting.

Admissions & Placement 

At Unshakable She, we understand that every placement is unique.

For planned placements, admissions are completed within 24–48 hours, allowing our team to thoughtfully prepare for each Resident’s arrival.

In times of crisis, we offer same-day placement to provide immediate safety, stability, and care.

Regardless of the situation, our process remains thorough, transparent, and grounded in our mission — to create a safe, supportive environment where every Resident can begin her journey of healing and growth.

Emergency & Same-Day Admissions

Even when urgency is required, our admissions process remains structured and compliant:

• Immediate Documentation: Placement paperwork is completed at the time of admission to confirm care and ensure the Resident’s immediate needs are met.
   
• Agency & Guardian Information: The placing agency or guardian must provide background information and referral details within four (4) calendar days of admission. This allows Unshakable She, Inc. one (1) additional day to process and complete the admissions assessment, ensuring compliance with 13 CSR 35-71.

⚠️ Failure to provide required information within this timeframe may result in a review of placement status.
 

• Intake Documentation: All intake documentation is finalized within thirty (30) days of placement, in compliance with 13 CSR 35-71.
   
• Mandatory Medical, Dental & Vision Examinations:
   
  • Medical: Within 30 days before or 10 days after admission
     
  • Dental: Within 1 year before or 3 months after admission
     
  • Vision: Within 1 year before or 3 months after admission
    Documentation of all results is maintained in the Resident’s file.
